I have gambled on millions of hands of 21. I started sneaking into the casinos when I was 16. I have played online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a little while. With all that said I have still lost an abundance of cash at twenty-one. The casinos have made it almost impossible to beat the house.

I still like the game and gamble on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have wagered on a type of 21 called "The Take it Leave it Method". You definitely will not get rich with this tactic or defeat the casino, however you will experience an abundance of fun. This tactic is built on the fact that blackjack appears to be a game of runs. When you are on fire your on fire, and when you’re not you are NOT!

I play basic strategy twenty-one. When I don’t win I wager the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand. If I lose again I wager the table minimum on the successive hand again etc. Whenever I hit I take the payout paid to me and I bet the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I lower the action back down to the original sum.

I am very disciplined and do not "chicken out". It gets very fun at times. If you succeed at a few hands in a row your bets go up very quick. Before you realize it you are betting $100-200/ hand. I have had fantastic streaks a few times now. I left a $5 table at the Venetian a couple of years ago with $750 after 60 minutes using this technique! And a few weeks ago in Atlantic City I left a game with $1200!

You have to understand that you can relinquish a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be surprised at the streaks you witness playing this way. Below is a guide of what you would bet if you kept winning at a $5 game.

Take 5 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 5 dollar bet

Wager 5 dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid to you for a total bet of 10 dollar

Wager $10
Take ten dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $10 bet

Wager 10 dollar
Leave $10 paid-out to you for a total wager of twenty dollar

Bet twenty dollar
Take twenty dollar paid to you, leave the initial $20 bet

Bet twenty dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total bet of $40

Wager 40 dollar
Take 40 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 40 dollar bet

Wager forty dollar
Leave forty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $80

Bet $80
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the first $80 bet

Bet $80
Leave 80 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 160 dollar

Wager one hundred and sixty dollar
Take $160 paid-out to you, leave the first 160 dollar bet

If you departed at this point you would be up 315 dollar !!

It is difficult to go on a run this long, but it often happen. And when it does you mustn’t alter and lower your wager or the final result won’t be the same.
