I have gambled on millions of hands of chemin de fer. I started sneaking into the gambling halls when I was 16. I have played online chemin de fer, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a little while. Given all that I have still lost a lot of cash at 21. The gambling dens have made it very hard to beat the casino.

I still enjoy the game and gamble on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have bet on a type of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You won’t get rich with this tactic or beat the house, however you will have a lot of fun. This tactic is founded on the fact that 21 appears to be a match of streaks. When you are on fire your hot, and when you’re not you’re NOT!

I wager with basic strategy chemin de fer. When I lose I bet the table minimum on the next hand. If I don’t win again I wager the table minimum on the subsequent hand again etc. Whenever I hit I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the original wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I return the action back down to the original value.

I am very disciplined and do not back out. It gets very thrilling on occasion. If you succeed at a few hands in a row your bets go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are gambling $100-200/ hand. I have had great runs a number of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Palms a few years ago with $750 after 35 mins using this tactic! And a couple of days ago in Las Vegas I left a game with $1200!

You have to understand that you can give away much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be amazed at the streaks you see betting this way. Below is a guide of what you would bet if you kept winning at a 5 dollar table.

Take five dollar paid to you, leave the first five dollar bet

Bet five dollar
Leave five dollar paid to you for a total bet of 10 dollar

Bet 10 dollar
Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the first 10 dollar bet

Bet 10 dollar
Leave ten dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $20

Bet $20
Take 20 dollar paid to you, leave the original twenty dollar wager

Bet $20
Leave $20 paid-out to you for a total bet of 40 dollar

Wager 40 dollar
Take forty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $40 wager

Wager 40 dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid to you for a total bet of eighty dollar

Bet eighty dollar
Take eighty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 80 dollar bet

Wager 80 dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid to you for a total bet of 160 dollar

Wager 160 dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first one hundred and sixty dollar bet

If you departed at this moment you would be up 315 dollar !!

It is herculean to go on a streak this long, but it will happen. And when it does you mustn’t deviate and drop your wager or the end result will not be the same.
