I have enjoyed countless of rounds of twenty-one. I began working my way into the gambling dens when I was 16. I have played online chemin de fer, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short time. Given all that I have still spent a lot of bankroll at blackjack. The casinos have made it very hard to defeat the game.

I still enjoy the game and wager on a frequent basis. Over the years I have bet on a variation of 21 called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get flush with this tactic or defeat the house, nonetheless you will have an abundance of fun. This tactic is built on the idea that vingt-et-un seems to be a game of runs. When you’re hot your hot, and when you’re not you’re NOT!

I wager with basic strategy blackjack. When I do not win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the next hand. If I lose again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand again etc. As soon as I win I take the payout paid to me and I bet the original wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I lower the bet back down to the original value.

I am very strict and never "chicken out". It gets very enjoyable sometimes. If you win a few hands in series your wagers go up very quickly. Before you know it you are gambling $100-200/ hand. I have had fantastic runs a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Venetian a number of years ago with $750 after 45 mins using this technique! And a number of weeks ago in Las Vegas I left a table with $1200!

You have to understand that you can give up much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be amazed at the streaks you witness wagering this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you kept winning at a five dollar table.

Take $20 paid-out to you, leave the initial twenty dollar bet

Take forty dollar paid to you, leave the original $40 wager

Leave 40 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $80

Wager eighty dollar
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the first 80 dollar bet

Wager 80 dollar
Leave $80 paid-out to you for a total wager of 160 dollar

Wager one hundred and sixty dollar
Take $160 paid to you, leave the initial 1 hundred and sixty dollar wager

If you left at this moment you would be up 3 hundred and fifteen dollars !!

It’s iffy to go on a run this long, but it occasionally happen. And when it does you mustn’t deviate and drop your wager or the end result won’t be the same.
